This year, we are proud to recognize an iconic slate of honorees, including DJ Drama, Zaytoven, Joshua "J1" Raiford, Attorney Bernie Lawrence-Watkins, and a special surprise guest whose impact has left an indelible mark on the music world.The 2025 Black Music Moguls Brunch is proudly powered by Black Music Moguls, in partnership with Pandora, Grey Goose, Red Bull, Pronghorn, Atlanta City Council, and MNRK Music Group.This is more than a brunch—this is where excellence in Black music is honored, celebrated, and immortalized.

DJ Drama
DJ Drama is a Grammy Award-winning DJ, producer, music executive, and cultural icon whose influence has helped shape the sound of hip-hop for over two decades. Best known for pioneering the Gangsta Grillz mixtape series and co-founding Generation Now—the label home to artists like Lil Uzi Vert and Jack Harlow—DJ Drama has cemented his legacy as a tastemaker and visionary in the music industry. His ability to champion emerging talent while collaborating with legends makes him one of the most respected figures in modern hip-hop culture.

Zaytoven
Zaytoven is a Grammy-winning super producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist widely recognized as one of the architects of modern trap music. With a signature sound rooted in gospel and Southern hip-hop, Zaytoven rose to prominence through iconic collaborations with artists like Gucci Mane, Future, Migos, and Usher. His ability to blend soulful melodies with hard-hitting beats has earned him a reputation as a musical genius and a pillar in the evolution of Atlanta’s hip-hop scene.

Joshua "J1" Raiford
Joshua "J1" Raiford is a visionary music executive and cultural architect, currently serving as Vice President of Music Programming at Pandora and Program Director for SiriusXM’s Pandora Now (Channel 3). With a career spanning from his early days as a teenage DJ in Harlem to becoming one of the most influential figures in hip-hop streaming, Raiford has consistently shaped the soundscape of contemporary music.
